Casa de Rosie is an unusual house built in the traditional way around a courtyard with a fountain in the middle. The pictures do not do justice to the 12 and 14 foot ceilings which give an air of spaciousness. The house was originally occupied by Carolyn Bunch and her husband, Henry. Carolyn is a well known New Mexico Portrait artist. The Casita was originally her studio and the house was setup as a gallery.Rosie?s art collection is displayed which makes the house totally unique, in an eclectic, New Mexican artistic style. The main house has a living room, dining room, kitchen, and 2 bedrooms surrounding the courtyard. Across the courtyard lies the Casita, complete with 8' kitchenette and full size fridge. Most folks prefer to eat out at one of the area?s home style cooking restaurants located nearby.
More than 10 years as a Bed and Breakfast, Casa de Rosie is one of the area's best locations.
